Dog days of August

It was so hot today I think you could fry an egg in the air...We had a good day at church today...The children did great again this morning...That Tyler Goodman is such a ham...Sunday School was my subject this morning and I felt like I could have pulled a Jesus and had to send disciples for food for the hungry crowd...I can teach for ages on the family...I really enjoyed teaching this morning, thanks to Sis Torrence for allowing me the privilege to teach on such a great subject...I truly felt the anointing for worship this morning too...I appreciate the Lord for that one...lol...Sometimes we just need a fresh anointing to do the same things we have done over and over again...It was sooooo hot outside today I can't even begin to describe how hot it was, I am sure you experienced it wherever you are...Lord please have mercy on us and give us rain, lots and lots of rain...America deserves fire and brimstone but thank God for his grace and mercy...Whew I know I need it...Bro Jerry had a speech impediment tonight and it was hilarious, I mean a really bad night of it...So I was picking at him and then I developed it too...He said yep that's what happens when you make fun of people and I said oh yeah but it's so worth it...If someone can get a kick and laughter from my mishaps then so be it...Have a great laugh is all I have to say...We are planning something soooo funny for next week, I can't share just now in case it falls through but if it comes to past I will share and if it doesn't I will share too after it's all over...lol...I bet that was clear as mud...Keep praying for the Parade of Nations I lack 13 more young ladies and I pray we get them...2 from Antioch can possibly go if they can get a ride from Cleveland on Thursday night back to Nashville...Several car loads are going up on Thursday and coming back, but the ones coming back are filled, so I don't know what we are going to do...Well it's late and I need to get my beauty rest...May God bless each of you with the peace that passes ALL understanding in the midst of life's worst and best times...

Vicky,
Add Emily Wallace to the list of flag bearers. She is a married VLB age. She will try to find the white dress / shoes. Is the dept. buying the gloves?

I have never asked for any funds from the dept as long as I have been helping Sis Campbell...If I were to guess I would say she paid for everything...

Last year I paid for what we needed so to answer the question with a long answer...We were not given any type of budget for expenses...

They will need to provide their own gloves...

Thanks so much for all your help... I don't know what I would do without hard workers like you and many others that I have to depend on...
