Old, Hot and Slipping....

Man I am going the way of the senior citizen quickly. Simple things that I used to could do with such ease have become a chore. The list is too long to itemize so just take my word for it.

It's still soooo hot. I hope the Lord allows us rain soon, we desperately need it.

I fell in the shower this morning, yes you heard me, I fell in. LOL...My Mom's bathtub is slick as glass and then she has this grip plastic thingy on the bottom with little suction cups to keep you from slipping. Well it ain't the first time I have slipped on the slick thing, but this time it gave way completely and one leg went east, one leg went west. I didn't know I could still do the splits. LOL...I landed on the back of my left leg and it's most definitely going to bruise. I am just thankful it wasn't worse and I didn't break something, gash something or knock myself out. One of my worst nightmares is to knock yourself out with just your birthday attire and be found in that condition. LOL..I am sure you really appreciate that visual, I know I do...lol

The welcome back was touching this morning and my favorite part was the praying mothers. We all should thank God above if we have a praying mother. Then my next favorite thing was Ricky's heart felt words. He may not say much, but when he does it pierces your heart. Heartwarming, touching, funny and food. It can't get much better than that unless it's deliverance of souls, now that is the top for me. See ya.
