I am going nutzo without access to my computer...I have things I am working on and need to check my email, that got sent into cyberspace...I should have kept some of them in a separate file, pics too...I didn't have any idea there would be a problem...
Erika is still progressing in the birth department but not fast enough for her...I know she is soooo ready to be delivered...
I am working for Examone today...I love this job...the flexibility, the experience, the money, it has just been the perfect job for me...Sabrina really likes and trusts me...It's a blessing to have this type of situation to lean on when needed...
Everything is cheaper here...gas, food, taxes...etc...I try to purchase anything I need while I am here...I got several things done I needed and saved money, that is my kind of shopping...Even back in the day when I had plenty of money I still tried to get the best quality for the least amount of money...
Everyone has been so kind regarding the Parade of Nations...I spoke last year about my life coming full circle...I don't think we realize the times and places that our life will take...I love The Church of God...I love working and doing my best for her...Are there imperfections in her, yes...Are there problems, yes...But that you will find anywhere in this world whether in secular or spiritual arenas...I have found the sweetest, kindest, most sincere people in the world to work with...Growing up in the church, going to camps, revivals, singings, conventions, assemblies, you realize there are parts that are highlights to you personally...The Parade of Nations was one of those for me...To see all those flags, ladies dressed in white with sashes and then hear the Bahama Brass Band play Send the Light and watch the Bride being spot lighted as she made her entrance was just such a thrill to my soul...I have helped with the Parade since the 1st one after the reorganization when Sis Mary Foster was the coordinator...I never knew that one day I would be asked to help organize it...I thank the Lord for the opportunity to serve the Church with this time honored tradition...It's a blessing to be able to contribute any talents that God has given me to be an asset to the Church in any capacity...Also the one time Charlie went with me to the Assembly was during the Parade of Nations....It so impacted him, he came home telling people "There is no church like Vicky's Church" ...I pray he never forgets that...
