Wedding was beautiful...

Ricky and Megan were so sweet Saturday...The love of their families and the love of their friends, it was so special...I don't know why everyone is so surprised that I didn't know...The important things in life that have eternal value, I don't miss...Other things that I used to be more sharp about has diminished over the years...Or maybe I realized those sorts of things are not that important...It was a good surprise...I got so tickled trying to figure out since I was the moderator, who had asked Jeff/Laura to sing without me knowing anything about it and then to sing the Wedding Song..."When a man shall leave his family...where 2 or 3 are gathered and yadda, yadda, yadda, blah, blah, blah" The whole time I am wondering what in the world does this have to do with anything???? It still cracks me up now...It was hilarious...That goes to show you how focused I was on making their day special...I wanted our family, their family, their friends to have a nice time...I really enjoyed Megan's family, and their mutual friends, it was an awesome day...I was really impressed with their school and job friends coming to a wedding shower...And the ones that cared enough to be there got to experience the treat of a lifetime...It was priceless...The food was delicious and there was plenty...Ricky/Megan's friend Brad was a hoot...I really liked him and expect to see him again...He lives in Kim's neighborhood and gave Kim his personal information in case she ever needed him...How sweet is that?? Her Mom and Dad were special, her aunts, her grandparents, they were all so sweet and complimentary to the entire day...Her sister Lindsey and I hit it off great...Say a prayer for her husband Jeremy and his job situation...Her younger sister Whitney was so quiet and shy but super sweet...I just can't explain the connections of that day, words cannot describe the experience...Megan messaged me today and told me her family and friends just thought the day was awesome...She said I was the greatest and that means more to me than any accolades of this world...She has such a genuine heart and she loves Ricky and this family...She said I love Jeff and Laura so much...I just love them, that's all I know to say...I tell you it's wonderful for people to see the love of God in others...It really is...Kim and I worked really hard on it, with Momma too...Janet and her family helped so much with little details and worked so hard to help set up and clean up and it wasn't even expected of them at all...They were guest too... The song they sang "God bless the broken road" was beautiful...I think it's the best I have heard the 3 of them sing together...The guest were impressed with Kim's home and decorations too...I have had 3 different people ask me for my assistance in their home decorating...Tam and I really enjoyed making Kim's house a home...

It's 10 days and counting before Lance/Erika and the babies are here...I can't wait...I am expecting great things from God in our revival...I am expecting great things in all the special events of our lives from here to glory...It's good to have special people in your life to take up the slack for all the missing parts...I have sooo much to be thankful for and I truly am thankful to God for his wonderful love for me and mine...
